Saint Henry supreme on wet surface

Albury combination Rob Wellington and Amanda Masters (pictured) have found the secret to success with Saint Henry.

Saint Henry broke through for his first win at his 13th start when he careered away in the Maiden Hcp (1600m) at his home track on Tuesday (August 18).

The five-year-old is a son of former Kooringal Stud stallion Zariz, who is renowned for producing wet track performers.

Saint Henry relished the Heavy 10 conditions under the guidance of Masters to win by three-and-three-quarter lengths.

Wellington has been rewarded for his patience with Saint Henry.

Saint Henry made his debut at Leeton last September and recorded three placings before breaking his maiden status in style.
