Kooringal Stud’s dual Group 1 winner Prized Icon continues to be supported by the leading stables.
Prized Icon’s colt from the All American mare Yankee Eyes was knocked down to top Sydney trainer John Thompson for $80,000 at the Gold Coast Magic Millions Sale in January.
Wyong’s Allan Kehoe paid $50,000 for Prized Icon’s bay colt from Moonrush (by Encosta De Lago), who is the dam of the multiple Perth winner Panzdown.
Kooringal also offered a half-brother to the $2.1 million earner The Astrologist, with the Cliff’s Edge yearling heading to Goulburn with Danielle Seib.
“They all went to great homes and will be given the best opportunities,” Kooringal’s Angus Lamont said.
Kooringal’s Lauren Anderson is pictured in the parade at the Gold Coast.
